Also known as “El Viejo”, San Cristóbal is the oldest, highest and biggest volcano in Nicaragua. 1745m above sea level.
1 ½ hours from León, we begin hiking up the North side for about 3 ½ hours. At the top you will find the volcano quite active and will be able to see all the surrounding volcanoes.
